Club History

Origin:

The Rotary Club of Northern Calvert was founded by members of the Rotary Club of Prince Frederick and charted on February 2, 1995 as the Rotary Club of Dunkirk. In 1997 the Club decided to change its name from Dunkirk to Northern Calvert. This more closely represented the membership and community it serves. Today there remains a close union between the Rotary Club of Northern Calvert and the Club of Prince Frederick. The Northern Calvert Club is a breakfast club while the Prince Frederick Club holds its meetings in the evening.
